Privacy Policy

Who we are. DocketWatch is operated by Baseline Energy Analytics Ltd. (BEA), 238A Brownlow Ave, Suite 102, Dartmouth, NS B3B 2B4. BEA has appointed a Privacy Officer; privacy questions go to [email protected].

What we collect.

• Your email address, when you subscribe to digests.
• Usage records - pages viewed and searches on the portal, and tool calls on the MCP endpoint - used to operate and improve the service.
• Feedback you submit through the portal or by replying to a digest email.

What we use it for. Sending the digests you asked for, and operating and improving the service. Nothing else: we don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who else touches it. Emails are delivered through Microsoft's services. We don't share your information with anyone else, except as required by law.

Public filing content. The documents, party names, and filings on DocketWatch come from the NSEB's public record. Questions about the content of the public record belong with the Board.

Retention and deletion. Unsubscribing stops all emails immediately. To have your information deleted entirely, contact us at [email protected].

Safeguards. Your information lives on systems BEA controls, with access limited to BEA staff.

Your rights. You can ask what personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted - contact the Privacy Officer at [email protected]. Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) applies; unresolved concerns can go to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes. The current version, with its effective date, is always at docketwatch.ca/privacy.
